48 Hours is bid reservation plugin for the hotel industry loyalty members.

With 48 hours plugin, hotel customers have an option to make a bid on the hotel stay. Hotel confirms or declines submitted bids keeping control of the inventory by use of the dedicated hotel portal.

With a simple, three-step integration with your website, free updates and support, 48 hours is helping hotels improve occupancy rates, loyalty membership engagement, and challenge online travel agents.

This B2B enterprise software business was recently launched by Dimitri Shestakov, enabled by and invested in by Antler.

48 Hours provides a solution for the hotel chains to interact with their loyalty members in a more engaging way,” says Bede Moore, Antler Managing Partner, APAC, “and solves the problem of unsold hotel rooms whilst providing economic benefits for both the travellers and hotels.

“With zero customer acquisition cost because the plugin connects to an existing loyalty membership database of a hotel chain, and significant scaling potential of the product and solution, 48 Hours is primed for success.”

Shestakov says the business is building on existing industry infrastructure but using it in an innovative way.

“We have a competitive advantage as the bid functionality has been used for upgrades (by the hotel industry — standard to premium room types; by the airline industry — from economy to business class seats),” he says, “however, has not been utilised to make sure that loyalty members don’t leave the website without making a booking due to price sensitivity.”

And it’s getting the attention of stakeholders in the industry.

“So far, we have signed an LOI with Accor Hotels in Australia to pilot our technology and built our MVP,” says Shestakov. “Now, we’re moving into the integration and onboarding phase for our trial.

“Antler’s investment provided an opportunity to have great talent working on building our tech. Antler’s guidance and well laid out processes enabled us to focus on the product.”
